Q: If I want to test an offer, how much should I budget to test it with PPC?

A: Never spend more than you can afford to lose. I generally use 100 qualified clicks as a benchmark for a campaign. If your campaign breaks even, or loses a little bit of money see what you can do to refine the campaign. Consider adding more specific keywords and negative keywords to filter out junk clicks. You should also write ad copy that pre-qualifies the visitor so they know exactly what they’re going to find on your site. If your campaign is bleeding red ink, stop the hemorrhaging and try something else.
