JOB TITLE:   Partner Manager

A fast-growing, entrepreneurial, profitable company based in Dallas, TX, has an immediate opening for a Partner Manager.  We are looking for a talented, responsible individual to assume full-charge responsibilities for the general ledger and other various duties.


 The services performed on the internet includes banner ads, pay-per click marketing and search engine optimization.  They are looking for people who possess the following characteristics: self-starter, motivated, tenacious, team player, intelligent, and high integrity.  As a company, we look for people who want to contribute and share in our success. 

 

Partner manager is responsible for building, growing and maintaining of a start-up affiliate program.  Key duties will include driving traffic, conversion and profitable growth through affiliate marketing programs, and online marketplaces.  This position will be responsible for third-party vendor management (Commission Junction, Performics, Channel Advisor, etc.) as well as developing direct revenue sharing partnerships that expand the company’s online reach.  The successful candidate is a creative, strong relationship builder with an analytic mindset and a bias for action.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners (MSN, Yahoo, Google, etc.)
  • Implement automated processes in working with numerous smaller partners
  • Drive new partnerships, selling new business opportunities to existing partners, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of business issues raised by partners
  • Program Monitoring, Tracking and Report
  • Publisher Compensation Strategies
  • Competitive intelligence and monitoring
  • Handle all communication with affiliates, largely via e-mail and phone
    conversation, including answering all questions and negotiating terms
  • Develop strategies for recruiting new affiliates into the program, and
    for assisting current affiliates in growing their contributions to the program
  • Manage projects and new initiatives with cross functional teams (creative, copywriting and technical)

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS or equivalent.
  • Strong partner management experience including solid history of relationship growth successes.
  • Strong relationships with existing affiliates and database of affiliates to targets
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, such as technical service, product development and engineering teams to resolve problems and provide input into new features and products.
  • Proven ability to think strategically.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook

·         Thorough understanding of online marketing & affiliate programs

·         Ability to establish rapport via e-mail and phone conversations

·         Must be proactive and be able to develop rapport and positive working relationship with employees and co-workers

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

·         Strong negotiating skills

·         At least two years of work in the online marketing field is mandatory

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Competitive Base salary plus commission
  • Health, Dental, STD, LTD paid by employer for full-time employee. 
  • Full-time employee eligible for vacation in the first year of employment.
  • Eligible for bonus program after 6 months of full-time employment.
