Guy Pearce (Memento), who played the traitorous Fernand Mondego in The Count of Monte Cristo, has signed on to the dramatic thrilled Hungry Rabbit Jumps, Variety reports. The Endgame Entertainment production also stars Nicolas Cage and attractive Man Men-star January Jones.
Roger Donaldson is slated to direct the thriller, and Tobey MaGuire is among the list of producers . James D. Stern is also one of the producers of Hungry Rabbit Jumps and he spoke with MTV News about the storyline: “It’s a thriller about a guy who has something quite untoward happen to his wife. He’s approached by a vigilante group and they can take care of it, because it doesn’t look like the police will be able to. In exchange, he’ll have to owe them a favor. He mistakenly takes them up on it and finds himself in a bind that’s hard to get out of.”
No word yet on which role Pearce will take, although many are speculating that he’ll be a part of the vigilante group.
According to Variety, filming for Hungry Rabbit Jumps will begin in New Orleans in a couple of weeks.
