About 2 weeks ago Shawn Collins told another group (the Oldtimers) about launching Affiliate Summit on Facebook. Coincidentally the Oldtimers were doing the same thing. Instead of using Linkedin or other social networking tools, both groups chose Facebook independently of the other. What has happened, at least in my opinion, has been a surge in signups and creation of affiliate groups within Facebook.
