This is the latest for the movie “Solomon Kane“. The movie was adapted from the stories of Robert E. Howard that were published in the cult magazines “Weird Tales”. Kane is a 17th century Puritan who has made a Faustian pact with the Devil who possesses his soul. Kane wanders the world fighting evil wherever he finds it as means of redemption.
The movie poster is full of cool images with the two obvious antagonists in the background as if they are part of the skyline. A 17th century town and harbor lays in the background seeming under siege above and below. The movie had its debut in North America at the Toronto Film Festival in September. The film will be released in France on December 23rd. No current release date is available for the USA.
