Announcing iPod touch Battery Installation Services ———-Since 2005, Milliamp LTD at www.ipodjuice.com has helped thousands of customers to get their failing iPod batteries replaced, and the same trusted company is now performing a new iPod touch battery replacement service. The Apple iPod touch was put together in a manner that makes it next to impossible for the average person to get into, which leaves those who have bought one few options when the battery inside the iPod touch won’t keep a charge any longer. The iPod touch has features much like the iPhone, except that it does not have the cellular functionality, which limits communication to wireless access locations only. Only if you are able to locate a wireless hot spot (and an un-encrypted one at that!) will you have the ability to use the internet or your email from this sleek device. However, most iPod touch battery owners are within reach of a known wireless router and can surf the net or purchase songs from iTunes. “Even though Apple’s iPod touch battery is difficult to get to, we found a way to safely get into it and replace the battery.” said Anthony Magnabosco, owner of the internet site www.ipodjuice.com. This established iPod repair company carries out iPod touch battery replacements the same day the devices arrive, skillfully de-soldering out the worn out battery and then soldering in a brand new battery that Milliamp LTD covers for ten years - a nearly unheard of find in the iPod battery business. iPod touch batteries are a smart value too, when you know that for less money than what Apple charges, you can still have the same iPod touch that you bought or were given as a gift and get it back much sooner. “We stopped being surprised at how soon our customers request their iPods and iPhones sent back to them with their new batteries.” added Magnabosco. Considering the wide appeal of the iPod touch, a similar device to the iPhone, it is nice to know that, when the time eventually comes to replace the iPod touch battery, this is a reputable online business that has the capability to deliver.

New Same-Day First Generation iPod nano Battery Replacement Service is Now Available
The website ipodjuice.com now offers a brand new same-day first generation iPod nano battery replacement service, which is something to consider because of all the soldering involved.
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) June 19, 2008 — A new first generation iPod nano battery replacement service is being offered by the folks at the website ipodjuice.com. To be clear, a 1st generation iPod nano has a silver backing and either a white or black front.

If this is the kind of iPod in your arsenal, it’s quite likely that it has been around for a while and the original stock battery inside the unit is not holding a charge for very long. That is the nature of lithium-ion iPod nano batteries, since they eventually will lose their ability to hold their charge.
Fortunately, established iPod repair company Milliamp LTD at the website ipodjuice.com has annoucned a new same-day iPod nano battery replacement service to the public. So when the need to change the battery eventually arises - and it will - people can keep the same first generation iPod nano running like when it was brand new. “We wish we could offer a kit for customers to replace their first gen iPod nano battery by themselves, like we do for other iPods, but the soldering involved makes this tough to do.”, explained Anthony Magnabosco, owner of the iPod nano battery replacement company.
Indeed, in order to change an iPod nano battery, the device must first be opened, which is probably the easiest part of the process. Next, the old stock battery has to be de-soldered, courtesy of a trusty soldering gun and some braiding. And finally, the three wires from the new iPod nano battery have to be soldered in. The process is definitely something most people will leave up to the battery iPod nano experts.
“It takes a while to get familiar with the innards of the first generation iPod nano, which is why folks should really send them in to us.”, added Magnabosco.
Milliamp LTD has been replacing iPod batteries for three years and are the leaders in the field. What’s more, the ipodjuice.com site installs new first generation iPod nano batteries the same day they arrive, test them overnight, and ship them back the next day. “The majority of the time is spent in transit- the iPod nanos do not sit around here for very long.”, continued Magnabosco.
The iPod nano battery Milliamp LTD will install is covered for ten years - a full decade - which is something to consider with a lithium-ion battery. If it fails during that period, customers can just send it back and the online company will install a new one free of charge.
“It’s so rewarding when we are able to keep another iPod nano out of the landfill by simply installing a new battery.”, said Magnabosco.
Now the 1st Generation iPod nano can run as good as a brand new one after receiving a brand new batery replacement, and you won’t have to wait weeks and weeks for the repairs to be completed.
Milliamp LTD enjoys providing iPod repair and iPhone repair to those in need. More information can be found at www.ipodjuice.com

iPodjuice.com Replaces Dead iPod Batteries

Some people get so frustrated when the battery fails on their iPod that they just stick it in a drawer and buy a new one. That gave Anthony Magnabosco, 37, of San Antonio the idea in 2004 to launch a Web-based business, iPodJuice.com, to supply iPod battery replacement kits.
At the time, Magnabosco worked as a logistics analyst in USAA’s materials management department, but he quit seven months after launching Milliamp Ltd., the parent company of iPodJuice.com. He expects to generate $1 million in revenue this year.
“I just started doing this on the side,” Magnabosco said.
Apple Inc. has sold millions of iPods from the Shuffle to the video version, but customers have expressed frustration that the built-in, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries don’t hold a charge after a while. Apple even includes tips on its Web site to extend battery life for the devices. Yet without help, it’s difficult to pry open the case and to replace the battery once it dies.
Magnabosco’s third-generation iPod battery died in 2004, so he bought a kit online to replace the battery. The kit was junk, he said.
On the Web
So he says he created a better one. Then Magnabosco designed a Web site for a few thousand dollars, and he found a plant in China to make his specialized tool
Even without a lot of advertising and with a crude Web site, customers found him. “It was getting to the point that during my lunch break I’d keep inventory in the trunk of my car and I’d go and mail the orders off,” he said. “I was working six to seven hours a night. One day I talked to my wife and I said, ‘I think I can make more money doing this.’” So Magnabosco quit his day job at USAA.
Today, business is booming, he said. He has five employees and more than 35,000 customers. His company handles 50 to 60 orders a day. A fifth-generation iPod video battery replacement kit costs $29. iPodjuice.com charges $20 to install the battery in an iPod or iPhone and offers same-day service.
Yet 95 percent of iPodjuice.com’s customers choose to buy “do-it-yourself” kits. The kits include detailed instructions on how to replace the battery, a blue plastic knife-like tool called the “I-Opener” that helps people pry open the iPod case and a longer-lasting replacement battery.
“You get the customers that don’t even know they can replace the battery in their iPod,” he said.
Mark Lieberman, a sales director in Clarksburg, Md., had a classic 20-megabyte iPod that was holding a charge for only a few minutes. He found iPodjuice.com through Google and ordered a kit with the top-of-the-line battery for $40.
“The tools worked really well to open the case up,” Lieberman said. But as he was replacing the battery, he accidentally pulled out the iPod’s ribbon cable. “I kind of reduced my iPod to just a paperweight,” he said.
He planned to buy a new one the next day. But first he made a call to iPodJuice’s customer support people. The customer service agent, John Prince, walked him through the process of reconnecting the cable and putting his iPod back together.
“Now it works beautifully,” Lieberman said.
