DFWSEM Association Hosts Discussion on ‘’Internet Marketing and the Law'’ Presented by Robert Scott
April 12th, 2007Robert Scott’s presentation will cover the legal trends and the issues implicated in modern marketing techniques, including internet search optimization and pay-per-click marketing. These issues will include trademark infringement, service mark infringement, anti-cybersquatting, and copyright law. Robert will also discuss recent developments in the case law.

DFW Search Engine Marketing Organization Meeting February 19th- 6:30 PM
February 16th, 2007Greetings all DFWSEMers and Future DFWSEMers,
The next DFWSEM Association meeting will be held on Monday, February 19, at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson. This will be an open networking and informational event that will follow up on sessions from Search Engine Watch Live in Dallas. Time is from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.
We invite you to come and network with most of the speakers you heard and the Search Engine Watch Live event last month. This event will be free to the public (no charge for non-members) so be sure to invite all of your friends.
Also, we won’t be sending out a press release about this event, so if you have a blog, we’d appreciate any mentions. Also, if you know someone who would be interested in coming this is the perfect event to invite them too.
